Probably the most comfortable boot I’ve had on if a little heavy. Sadly they just haven’t lasted, had them 3 years but the right boot now leaks and my foot gets wet. I don’t think I’ll be buying again

Really comfy, can have them on all day walking in mountains here in Norway. Good ankle support.
Wax them regularly.
Will be getting a new pair soon.

Have used these only a few times. One wet walk in Scotland and they leak. Also the heel is compressing (looks like wear but dont think it is) as the sole is too soft. In hindsight wouldn't have bought

Iv had 2 pairs where them as a work boot 10 plus hours a day in all weather do about 15000 steps a day in all conditions a lot off mud and water in the winter There normally last about 2 years

I have owned three pairs of these and each have gone the same way, the rubber disintegrates. I walk my dog twice a day in them for maybe 1 hour in total. They last about 18 months to maybe 2 years

These boots initially felt comfortable in the shop especially as I have a narrow foot. However very difficult to break them in. Ended up with pain in my foot and ankle wearing them. Waste of money!

Hikes resulted in constant pain to one ankle. Resolved after returning to Meindl for repair. 11 months on, the bumper and GTX are leaking water despite rigorous care/cleaning/waxing. Disappointing

Having purchased quite a range of cheaper so called walking boots over the years, I finally decided to spend more and invest in a decent pair. What a difference, so comfortable. A solid quality boot.

Best hiking boot ever, absolutely battered these boots going up scarfell pike first time I wore them. Good to go out of the box, comfortable, quality is top quality, looking forward to more adventure

My Burma's had 9k km in 8 years of all weather walks. Broken treads ended their life. Never ever let me down in comfort and weather protection.The Buhtans now 14 months have 2688 ml. Perfect equal.

Haven't tested these out yet. But just broke them in round the house and on small walks. They are unbelievably comfortable and supportive. Feels like a top quality product. I got a size down from my normal shoe size.

Top quality boots. supportive, v comfortable esp the ankle foam, correct level of give / support in sole, good heel and tread. Feet stay dry even in torrential rain and wet. Recommended

Excellent quality, slightly heavy

I've been waiting for 2 weeks and still not got a sniff of the things... they seem to be stuck in a warehouse somewhere siren south.

Yet to wear them for anything meaning full but tend to judge my footwear on how comfortable they are when trying on the first time. As someone with a larger foot (13) these feel spot on and looking forward to some bad weather and long walks!

This is my 2nd pair of these boots. First pair lasted me two and half years and covered over 3k miles. They are the most comfortable boot I’ve ever owned, that’s why I bought my second pair. Kept them waterproofed with dubbin. Would recommend to any serious walkers.

Lovely boots, quality contruction and finish but they were too small across the front foot for me even though I ordered a size bigger than usual after trying the next size down in the store in Bristol. If you have wider feet they are possibly not the best choice but they are excellent boots and I was sad to send them back.

Best boot I have found for the Scottish hills.

Best support boot for hiking

crossed some wet ground in the hills and while other walkers had dry feet mine were soaking. it was the first wet walk out of a total of 4 walks. maker examined and claimed they were still waterproof
