Your feet can become uncomfortable during hikes due to damp seeping through into the boot, or even sweat building up within it. The vegan-friendly Raven Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot from Hi-Tec is constructed using a softshell breathable upper, along with perforated material at targeted areas of the boot, and a Dri-tec waterproof membrane to ensure that it withstands even the wettest of conditions.
The cluster of microscopic pores within the Dri-Tec membrane allow water vapour to escape without allowing water droplets in, so your feet will always remain dry and comfortable.
Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot to create a snug and secure fit.
With a full-length platform of moulded EVA which follows the natural arch in your foot, this walking boot wasn't made for being cooped up. Just like the Raven, it needs to roam free and you will feel like you're walking on air due to the responsive cushioning. The energy produced from impact on craggy and unsteady terrain will be returned as rebound, and the carbon rubber outsole provides superb traction and durability in all weather conditions.

Measuring tips
Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
Feet: Measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.
Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

Don’t buy!
Had these boots about three months and they are about done ( only used them for walking) These boots are definitely not waterproof. The scuff pad on the toe ripped with the first touch of a stone.

I wore these in Cornwall last week and I have zero issues with this boot.
This trip included hard walking along cliff paths as well as sodden moor walking and I had no leaks or issues with the boot
POORLY MADE RUBBISH - NOT WATERPROOF
Not waterproof AT ALL! soles are slippery and the boots started developing holes/splits after about 6 months form only light usage. Now the soles are coming unstuck from the uppers. Absolute rip off!

Agree completely with most recent review, comfortable and good grip so great in dry weather but about as waterproof as a string vest so useless in even mildly wet conditions.

These boots are comfortable and have good grip. However they are NOT waterproof. They let in water after walking through shallow puddles and even walking through wet grass.

I bought theirs books as I had left my waterproof boots at home.
They were great value comfortable.
They have become my go to boot when wet, over my more expensive walking boots,

Good vegan boots
I've had these boots for seven months. They were comfortable out of the box. The soles are hardly worn and the tops look good for a lot of miles yet. They are waterproof. They are vegan.

I usually spend a long time picking foot ware. Bought as waterproof don't look after them ragged trainers and mountain bike spiky pedal who cares. Stayed waterproof for months and in good shape 6mths
Good to start with
Great boot and waterproof for the first couple of trips out. But waterproofing don't last long. Now can only use on dry days as they do not keep your feet dry.

Bought these last week so can't comment on longevity. Comfy and true to size. Easy to clean. Waterproofing seemed decent. Can't complain for less than £50 nowadays. Will probably wear more for work
