Lightweight.
I bought these to replace the steel pegs for my back packing tent and saved well over a pound in weight. It all count's when your carrying it all day.
Each peg weighs just 11g, yet on soft ground they provide far better grip than my equally very superlight pegs from DD Hammocks (at 8g each). This is due to the three-bladed profile which is surprisingly effective, and anchor far better than smaller, solid pegs on soft ground. A great balance between weight and efficiency for anyone keen on keeping down the pack weight when bivvying.
