Camped in the north pennines with this got down to -2 and it coped no problem, only down side its abit bulky and takes up a lot of room in my Rucksack.

5*

Great sleeping bag, best I've owned! Tip for sticking zip..(when closing bag).. keep your thumb flush between where the two zips meet when pulling it up, fabric hasn't got caught once for me.

So warm and cosy!!

Love these sleeping bags. Bought 4 of them to include our 2 children (aged 3 and 5). We camped mid September and these were so warm and cosy, only needed our normal pjs. Slightly short on my partner though but perfectly usable. And machine washable :-)

Sleeping Pod

Great bit of kit, esp if you have middle age spread lol. Nice and warm for a 2/3 season doss bag buy a waterproof cover if you want more extreme use, back up by the usual insulation! Whats great about this bag is its size, no more feeling like you are lying in a coffin or bits of body hanging out getting cold! The one down side is the zip its a bit fiddly, and the material inner draft fold seems to get caught up in it every time I zip up - a slightly better design would've seen this getting 5 stars, still I bought two anyway and we both enjoy using them. Recommended, esp if you're a bit thicker around the middle than you used to be :)

A decent nights sleep in a tent at last

Love this sleeping bag. Roomy and comfortable. Don't feel claustrophobic. Have bought one each for the family - would have given 5 stars but as no colour choice have had to label each sleeping bag

Really liked this...

Just used my new sleeping bag for two nights and really liked it. Hate Mummy Bags as I feel like a caterpillar and prefer to be able to move in the bag. This one worked really well and was very warm on quite a cold night. Not sure about issues with the pocket - didn't notice it.

Not thats good

Over all quality and warmth is pretty good but not very comfortable thought being wider they wouldn't twist and bag up the same but not a great deal different then a mummy bag

Perfect

My pet hate with camping is being cold - I get cold all the time. I usually have full clothes and a duvet and 3 blankets.
I bought this because I hate normal sleeping bags and liked the idea of being able to move around.
When I first looked at it I thought It might not keep me warm so packed the extra blankets.
Oh wow - best nights sleep in a tent in years. Doubled up with the Outwell 10cm SIM and it was so comfy and warm. I only needed my pj's on, no need for extra layers. Bliss. I would highly recommend.
I had no problem with the zip- you just have to go carefully, and I didn't even look for the pocket.
Going to get my daughter one now too.

Pod snoozzz dlx zip action

Bought to replace current sleeping bag (see other review) the inner fabric of the pod gets stuck in the zip all the way up when trying to close it. Also some of the time when opening. Returning it but not for this reason.

Silly pocket position

The sleeping bag itself is really nice but the designer that decided on the position of the inside pocket needs their head examining. Positioned right in the middle of the upper edge of the bag, if you were to put something in the pocket and lay on your back in the bag, the contents of the pocket would sit right under your chin on your neck!

Whats worse is the pocket has a scratchy velcro tab to keep it closed so every time you roll over it stands a good chance of scratching your shoulder etc. Not a huge issue in the end as my wife just unpicked the velcro making the pocket hardly noticable, albeit less useful if you actually wanted to use it to store something in as it would probably fall out without the velcro.

Hi Gear Snooze Sleeping Pods

Bought 2 of these for me & hubby - he fidgets in his sleep so double sleeping bag is a no go & I don't like the restriction of a normal sleeping bag.
What a great choice - didn't hold much hope that they'd keep us warm at first look, but on using them we were both snug, no chilly feet! Loads of room to move around in them, so much better than the standard envelope or mummy types. They are quite heavy when packed up but if you're car camping, that shouldn't be a problem. I saw getting them back into the stuff sacks as a challenge & managed it, so it can be done!!
Definitely worth the money - very pleased we chose these :)

Warm

Good bag for comfy sleeping. not one for backpacking though!

Excellent.

Have camped for many years. Last sleeping bags were mummy shape bags which I found too tight eventually. Bought these and used them this May on some colder nights. Excellent. Warm, plenty of space to move in. Only gave 4 rather than 5 as a couple of inches longer would have been even better to snuggle down in but would definitely recommend them.

Ultimate Comfort

Over the years my camping needs have changed from lightweight backpacking to wanting a little more comfort. I have also become slightly claustrophobic and found that my mummy bags felt constricted and unpleasant to sleep in. Latterly I have pulled sleeping bags up to my armpits and relied upon my Rab down jacket and hats to keep warm sometimes with a fleece blanket as well. The I saw the Pod which was only two seasons and then the delux three season Pod bag. It is warm comfortable and roomy. Suprisingly although the sides of the bage remain cooler than the main area of the bag it is very cosy even in minus temperatures. For winter camping either using additional covers or thermal PJs should suffice. Best of all I get get right into this bag and spred out - no more claustrophobia or restrictions. If like me you are now out of lightweight camping and able to use a car or transport this bag is the business. I have several bags including big names and down but this is now my favourite and cannot recommend it highly enough. The only drawback is it is only available in red and I am an Evertonian but it will be dark when I am in it and nobody will see me. I endorse this bag 100% go and buy one .
